Listlessly lounging
I sleepily slur
I don't have ideas for today
I lie on my side
The noise around me a blur
As I drift off to sleep in this way
I dream I do nothing
And dumbly dream drivel
I'm lolling the day away
To lazily lie is my earthly heaven
Until the alarm
Wakes me early at seven.

aww it sounds lovely until that rotten alarm. :)
A beautiful poem about spring laziness. In Spain, says: "The morning of April are very good to sleep" Greetings.
Awww, you got to sleep in till 7?! Lucky! I'd love a lazy day to "dream drivel"...love that phrase by the way.
Sending you the Versatile Blogger Award =)
Come get it!
My kids have to jump on my head to get me outta bed at 7 am or we are Late Late Late. Mornings are the worst! Lazy is my favorite pastime. :)
That's why I love my IPod Alarm; if I gotta end my sleep, at least it's with the tune of my choice. My talented wife tunes her radio between two stations.
I like how you use the s alliteration and the 'ur' ending to create a feeling of laziness. This is very artistic.
Oh, Lazy Days....
