I make windows
Staining the glass
Skewing the view
Four sides around the world
And four sides for every window
I make windows
Out of everything
And into nothing
Four sides around my eye
And four sides for every window
I make windows
By looking through one
Pressing a button
Four sides around my life
And four sides for every window

I'm just glad you let us look through this window into your poetic mind :)
Este poema de ventanas me recuerda al libro de Las Puertas de la percepción de Aldous Huxley y que The Doors puso su nombre al grupo musical por su influencia en Jim Morrison. Me encanta el poema por su contenido y sus evocaciones.

Another lovely poem which is so enjoyable.
Many thanks for the comment.

Great poem. You are very clever the way you write.
I like this, but I need to think about it some. I do like the way you've worded this and the way it builds to the end.

Very cool. Window making is a unique hobby.
Favorite line: "I make windows out of everything and out of nothing." It makes you think. Also, I like your use of repetition in this.
I challenge you one day to post a poem in spanish.. I love the sound of poetry in spanish.. and then you could put translation if you wanted to.. I was thinking of doing one in italian....???? I like your window.. post
Oh my gosh, Melody! This poem says so much and I'm sure there aren't many people who will stick their heads far enough through the window to notice. Nice job!
This is a great piece! I wish I could look through the metaphorical windows better and really appreciate it all, but alas, I always feel like I'm in a box. Thanks for the inspiration, though :)
